Stories

Our charming little corner cottage is one in a string of heritage terraces on Union Street leading up to Union Square, all built in the 1800s from sandstone – or yellow block, as it was known – sourced from Pyrmont’s then-famous quarries. Stepping inside, you feel the history and stories in our walls, with original features like the exposed timber beams and fireplaces preserved and serving as a link to the past.

  • We’re open for breakfast, brunch and lunch 7am-2:30pm every day.

  • Absolutely, we love dogs and welcome them to Quick Brown Fox in our outside seating area. We ask that you keep them on leash at all times.

  • We offer a takeaway menu of coffees, sweets and a selection of bites, which can be ordered from the front of our venue. Or you can order delivery with Uber Eats.

  • As our alfresco dining area is very popular, we offer seating here on a first-come, first serve basis, walk-ins and special events only.

  • Yes, we offer gluten-free and gluten-free option items across our menus.

  • Yes, we have a number of vegetarian and vegan options on our menu.

  • Yes, our breakfast and lunch menus are available all-day, 7am until our kitchen closes at 2:30pm.

  • Absolutely! We have a dedicated kids menu and highchairs.

  • We have offered a bottomless brunch in the past but we no longer have it available.

  • Drop by any time! You don’t have to book, however, we would recommend you do if you want to secure a table for a particular time, especially on the weekends, or if you have a group larger than six people.
